Ultrasonic Cavitation

Ultrasonic Cavitation uses sound wave energy to form low pressure bubbles within the adipocyte layer (fat cells). This creates a positive pressure within the tissues causing the fat cells to rupture or driving the fat cell contents into the lymphatic system for removal from the body through exercise.

The treatment head can be used to effectively sculpt the area being treated, whether it be slimming the waist or shaping the thighs.

How Does it Work?

This technology works by transmission of ultra high frequency (50KHz) sound wave energy into the sub-dermal tissues, targeting the area immediately beneath the treatment head to a consistent depth of 8-10 mm.

When used in isolation to break down stubborn or hard fat deposits, the ultrasonic waves cause low pressure bubbles to form between the cells, weakening cell cohesion and rupturing the cell membranes. When used following Laser Lipo, this energy impacts the fat cells and drives the contents out through the pores formed in the cell membrane, further accelerating inch-loss. Clients will also notice a smoother skin texture on the treated area as the process of cavitation re-organises the fat cells.

Treatable Areas

Cavitation can be used to treat the following areas. It is never used over bony areas of the body, such as hips, back or head:

  • Stomach
  • Thighs
  • Bottocks
  • Arms

Complementary Treatments

Ultrasonic cavitation and vacuum massage work in conjunction with laser lipo to further accelerate the rate of fat cell reduction.
